The platform for digital use of publishing content Get More Brain and the publishing service provider Reemers Publishing Services have agreed on a strategic partnership. Together, they will offer specialist and non-fiction publishers integrated content and digital-first workflows to enable new, scalable digital business models.
The core of the cooperation is the integration of the Get More Brain platform with the cloud-based editorial and production system RRP365: “Content is created as a central database (‘single source’), structured, enriched, and automatically processed for both digital and print formats. This enables publishers to utilize their publications in a modular way, update them continuously, and market them flexibly,” according to the companies.
The combined solution supports “in particular revenue models beyond traditional single sales – such as subscription-based offers, modular content products, B2B licensing, or collaborations with institutions and associations. Printed editions remain part of the portfolio and can be produced efficiently from the same database.”
“The partnership addresses key challenges facing the industry: increasing update requirements, multichannel distribution, and economically viable digital models,” said Jörg Pieper, Head of Publisher Relations at Get More Brain. “With RRP365, we are creating the necessary production and process reliability to implement these models in everyday publishing,” added Marc Reemers, Managing Director at Reemers Publishing Services.
